its a hot Sunday (READ: "warm outside") as it was warm outside when i left for work this morning (just after the sun rose). right now the sun twiddles into my eye as it streams in from the window. the TV is on and the Dallas Mavericks just de-pant'ed ("removed their pantaloons") the Phoenix Suns. Dallas scored 140 points. defense! the Suns will not make the playoffs. ouch.its past 5PM and the sun is still bright but the day is over ... at least work is over for me. with the NBA game over for now and the college championship (UNC vs. Michigan State) set for tomorrow night, i have the movie "Heat" on the TV as beef cooks in the kitchen. i am also enjoying an Abita Strawberry Harvest Ale. its good. more later (as i always say) and sorry for the long delay between posts (i always say that too). baseball is starting tonite i believe ... and tomorrow. i'm somewhat excited but i'm not a huge baseball guy. i love the playoffs but its hard to gather too much energy and excitement for a season that is 162 games long. that's like getting excited for the summer during Christmas. but i guess that's also what folks really love about the start of baseball. spring is here and summer ain't far behind.

it wasn't quite "twinkle" (that's for stars) and it wasn't "flutter" (that's for birds). the word "tiddlywinks" floated into the mind and i believe i heard a tiny bell ringing gently.
