we have NBA and NHL playoff action and the nights grow warmer with more sun as the summer rolls in (slowly, like baseball, very slowly).  i've been checking out some hoops action and i like what i am seeing.  unfortunately i don't get hockey on my TV so (fortunately for you) i can't report on it.

i've been thinking about writing and sports and blogs.  this blog is slowly chugging along (like baseball) (like a knuckleball, my favorite pitch) but i just don't feel like its going anywhere.  that's the internet.  maybe i should go to facebook and tell folks that "i just finished washing the dishes!".  or that "i love my cats!".  or, better yet, "i'm drunk again!".

i tried to start a 2nd blog but couldn't find the (all important) inspiration (it was titled "Random Zombies", see post below for more - or less - clarification).  my 2nd blog now will be titled "Death of Blog" and will entail all that that name may imply.  enjoy.
